'tis the season to be trendy

Winter break is right around the bend for most, meaning more time to spend on leisure and with the people we love. This time of year also means two words. Holiday parties. Let it be a casual party with friends or office parties, below are some outfits to keep you fashionably warm all night long.

WOMEN

Women's Staple Collection Winter 2010

H&M Winter 2010

Mango Winter 2010

note: Gals, pay special attention to your legs. Bare legs are a fashion faux pas for the holiday season. Dress them in either patterned tights, knee high socks, or boots. Keep the shirts tucked in for a more formal appeal. While pencil skirts can be worn solo, a-line skirts should be paired with a belt to accentuate the waist. For the most part, we want conservative tops closing at the collar.

MEN

Bershka Winter 2010

Zara Winter 2010

note: Gentlemen, let the scarves tone your outfit down. Scarves chosen to accompany the outfit should be neutral colors such as beige, gray and light brown. They will help make your outfit dressier while giving it an automatic sex appeal. As for the shoes, aim for military boots, leather shoes or espadrilles if you are looking for something more comfortable.
